Safehinge ALUfast - first reviews
Safehinge ALUfast - durable aluminium finger protection for doors - is already getting an extremely positive response from projects across the UK. This includes nurseries in Motherwell, the school building team at Manchester City Council and estate managers in Aylesbury.
You can see some of the positive comments below:
Booker Park Primary School
Buckinghamshire
"We have used a number of different plastic finger protectors and none of these were up to constant use - we resorted to duck tape as temporary fix. I have too many issues to deal with, without having to repair or replace plastic finger protectors again and again.
The ALUfast aluminium finger protectors are much better and they will last without ongoing maintenance."
Clive Bardell - Site Manager
Booker Park School
Lancasterian Specialist School
Manchester
"The Safehinge ALUfast were tested on problem doors in this school where the plastic finger protectors failed within 2-3 months of installation.
ALUfast has stood up to the heavy use and abuse from wheelchairs. It is robust and fit for purpose in our schools."
Linda Coleman - Project Manager
Manchester City Council

"Prior to our involvement with Safehinge, MCC tried a number of
solutions and found them all to have shortcomings in terms of
longevity or robustness. Our requirements were 'simple'. We
wanted an anti finger trap device that could be retrofitted to as
many door types as possible, was easy to install and adjust, robust
enough to withstand typical use for a number of years thus reducing
maintenance costs and had a pleasing aesthetic that would not
detract from existing décor.
We worked closely with the team at Safehinge who arrived at a
solution that has exceeded our expectations. The Safehinge product
has been installed for 12 months in several of our more
challenging school environments and we have been sufficiently
impressed with the results achieved and the service delivered by
Safehinge to confidently introduce Safehinge products to all our
new and refurbishment projects in the education and commercial
sectors. The new build and retrofit product solutions are now
included in our 'Kit of Parts' and recommended to all our
construction and design team partners."

Firtrees Nursery School
Motherwell
"We are delighted with the Safehinge ALUfast - they are keeping our children safe and they look fantastic! The service and support from Safehinge has been superb.
The aluminium finger protectors are much more robust than the plastic alternatives and I am confident they will last much much longer."
