Safehinge ALU achieves 38dB
A recent addition to the Safehinge ALU range has achieved an impressive 38dB in acoustic testing. This sets the benchmark as the highest acoustic rating available on the market with an integrated finger protection system.
The great news for architects and specifiers designing schools is that Safehinge now offers a range of seal options which meet or exceed the 35dB guideline for music rooms set by Building Bulletin 93 "Performance standards for airborne sound insulation between circulation spaces and other spaces used by students". The design is also compatible with NFR/FD30 doors.
